FAQ
We’re so glad you asked! “Kadma V’aAzla” is an Aramaic phrase that refers to one of the Torah reading cantillation symbols (more commonly known as “Trope” in Yiddish, or “ta’amei hamikra” in Hebrew). Loosely translated, the phrase means “begin and go forward,” a notion that suits our philosophy that becoming a bar/bat mitzvah is just the beginning of a lifelong journey within Torah study and Jewish community.
